Portobello Light

Inspired by the interplay between opaque and translucent surfaces, Portobello appears solid when turned off, but glows delicately from within when switched on. The Corian top version acts as a diffuser, distributing the light into the room, but also as a target-surface for the light that gets projected through the cylindrical base.This light works equally well as a table or floor lamp. The Acrylic top version projects lines onto surrounding surfaces.
