Lift Off Lamp
Liftoff is a portable lamp, powered by batteries and therefore cordless. The lamp’s feature is a vertical handle which allows flexibility in use: it can be in fact used as a floor lamp, as well as be hung by repositioning the tubular handle on the other end of the fitting. Its conical shape favors light diffusion, while the shape of the handle functions as a grip, as well as a hanging device.
The project was born in response to the brief “conversations” for the third edition of Pinetum Design - a biannual design event hosted by Villa Gaeta in Tuscany . For this edition, Piero Lissoni has selected the studio to partecipate to this event. The pieces were realized and are available for orders at Luce 5.
